ABOUT US
Welcome to Southern Charm Mobile Repair, where we believe in putting family values at the forefront of our business. Allow us to introduce ourselves: I'm Blake Hicks, joined by my wife Jayme and our son Bentley. Having relocated to Maine from Tennessee two years ago, we've found a true sense of belonging in this community and are thrilled to call it home.

My passion for tinkering with engines dates back to my childhood in middle Tennessee. Whether fixing lawnmowers alongside my grandfather or delving into automotive and heavy equipment repairs with my father, the thrill of fixing things has always been in my blood. During these formative years, I discovered my natural knack for automotive craftsmanship, leading me to hone my craft while gaining valuable experience in various automotive shops in my adult life.
Alongside me is my steadfast partner, Jayme. We've been inseparable since high school, and her unwavering support has been the cornerstone of my journey. Currently pursuing her dream of becoming a counselor specializing in clinical mental health, Jayme brings compassion and dedication to everything she does. Our 11-year old son, Bentley, a budding young author with a penchant for creativity, adds his own spark of inspiration to our family dynamic.

A: We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and checks. Because we use Square, our clients also have the option to use Afterpay for eligible repairs.

A: Pricing varies depending on the specific service needed. Oil change packages are priced by the job, without labor. Most other repairs have a part cost and labor charge. Our labor rate is $85/hr. We also charge a $55 dollar service fee for all appointments to keep our mobile shop up and running.

A: Yes! We provide maintenance and repair services for businesses with multiple vehicles. Contact us for more information about fleet service options.

Q: Can I supply my own parts?
A: Absolutely! We are happy to repair your vehicle with parts that you've pre-purchased. No parts? No problem! We can get the parts you need, as well.

Q: Do I have to be present for the service?
A: Not necessarily! As long as we have access to your vehicle, we can complete the repair while you're away. Blake will keep you informed throughout the process and notify you if any additional concerns arise. Payment can be handled electronically through the invoice for your convenience.

A: We will drive to any location within an hour of York, ME! Any appointments made over an hour away from York, ME will have an additional mileage charge.

Q: How do I get an estimate and schedule a service?
A: To provide an accurate estimate, we'll need your name, contact information, address, a brief description of what's going on with the vehicle, and the VIN or license plate number. This helps us source vehicle-specific parts, labor times, and technical details using our automotive database.
